Kerala Nursing & Allied Health Sciences Admission 2026-27: Application Started, Courses, Eligibility, Reservation & Complete Schedule
The Government of Kerala has officially released the Prospectus for admission to Professional Degree Courses in Nursing and Allied Health Sciences for the academic year 2026-27. Admissions will be conducted through the LBS Centre for Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram.
Students seeking admission to B.Sc Nursing, Physiotherapy, Medical Laboratory Technology, Optometry, Medical Imaging Technology, Respiratory Technology, and several other Allied Health Science courses can now apply online.

Admission Basis
Admission will be based on a state rank list prepared from the marks obtained in the qualifying examination after applying the prescribed normalization procedure.
Seat Categories
Government Seats
Government seats include:
- All seats in Government Colleges
- All seats in Government-controlled institutions
- 50% seats in Private Self-Financing Colleges
These seats are allotted through centralized counselling based on merit.
Management Seats
Remaining seats in Self-Financing Colleges are filled by managements based on inter-se merit and applicable regulations.

Compulsory Nursing Service
Students admitted to Government Nursing Colleges must complete one year of Compulsory Nursing Service (CNS) after graduation and registration with the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council. A bond is applicable, and withdrawal from CNS may attract a penalty of ₹1 lakh.
