Telangana MBBS / BDS Management Quota Admissions 2026-27 – Complete Guide

Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Telangana, Warangal has released the prospectus for admission into MBBS and BDS courses under Management Quota for the academic year 2026-27. The admissions are for unaided private non-minority and minority medical and dental colleges, including Army College of Dental Sciences, Secunderabad and Neelima Institute of Medical Sciences, affiliated to Anurag University.

What is Management Quota?
Management Quota seats are available in private medical and dental colleges under KNRUHS. These seats include B Category and C Category / NRI Quota seats. Admissions are not direct; they are conducted through the official online counselling process.
The number of seats under Management Quota will be as permitted by NMC / NDC and will be displayed on the university website before web options. If any new MBBS or BDS seats are permitted later, they may be added in subsequent counselling phases.
Educational Qualification
To apply for MBBS / BDS Management Quota seats, the candidate must have passed Intermediate or 10+2 or an equivalent examination with:
Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology and English.
Minimum marks required:
OC / EWS Candidates: Minimum 50% marks in science subjects
BC / SC / ST Candidates: Minimum 40% marks in science subjects
OC / EWS PWD Candidates: Minimum 45% marks in science subjects
Age Eligibility
The candidate must have completed 17 years of age as on 31 December 2026. Candidates who do not complete 17 years by this date should not apply for counselling.
NEET UG 2026 Cut-off Scores
Candidates must qualify in NEET UG 2026 with the required cut-off score.
General / Unreserved / EWS: 50th percentile – 213
General / Unreserved / EWS PWD: 45th percentile – 194
SC / ST / BC and PWD candidates of SC / ST / BC categories: 40th percentile – 177
Qualifying NEET UG does not guarantee a seat. Final admission depends on eligibility, rank, document verification, category rules, seat availability, web options and fee payment.
Local and Non-local Eligibility
For Management Quota B Category, 85% of seats in MBBS and BDS courses in medical and dental colleges affiliated to KNRUHS are reserved for local candidates from Telangana.
The remaining 15% seats are open to candidates from all over India, including Telangana local candidates, based on merit.
For Neelima Institute of Medical Sciences, 25% of B Category seats are reserved for Telangana local candidates.
Candidates from all over India are eligible for Management Quota C / NRI Quota seats.
NRI Quota Eligibility
Foreign students and NRI candidates are eligible for admission under Management Quota C / NRI Quota seats.
Candidates who want to be considered under NRI Quota must specifically choose the NRI category option in the online application. If the NRI option is not selected, the candidate will not be considered for C / NRI Quota seats.

Separate Registration for Competent Authority Quota and Management Quota
KNRUHS has clearly mentioned that there is separate registration for Competent Authority Quota and Management Quota.
Students who have already applied for Competent Authority Quota can also apply separately for Management Quota seats.
Registration and Processing Fee
The registration and processing fee for Management Quota is:
₹12,000 + bank transaction charges
The fee must be paid online through Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking.
The registration and processing fee is non-refundable and will not be adjusted to any future date. Students should carefully check eligibility before payment.

Incomplete applications or applications without mandatory certificates, photograph or signature will be automatically rejected.
Online Application Process
The online registration process broadly includes four steps:

Candidates must use a valid mobile number and email ID because OTPs will be sent during different stages of the registration process.
KNRUHS advises candidates not to use mobile phones, tablets or iPads for the application process. Desktop computers or laptops should be used. Students should also avoid slow internet connections and keep their mobile phone active while applying.
Merit List and Web Options
After scrutiny of uploaded certificates and application details, KNRUHS will publish the provisional merit list on its official website.
The final merit list will be released after addressing grievances.
The schedule for exercising web options will be issued separately on the KNRUHS website. Candidates must exercise web options separately for MBBS and BDS courses.
Students and parents should be very careful while selecting colleges and arranging the order of preference. A wrong option order may lead to an unwanted allotment or loss of a better college opportunity.
Admission Rules After Allotment
After seat allotment, the candidate can download the provisional allotment order from the website after payment of the university fee through the payment gateway.
At the time of joining, the candidate must submit:
Printout of the filled online application
Provisional allotment order
Original certificates
One set of self-attested copies
The admission committee of the allotted college will verify the original certificates. If any discrepancy is found, the provisional allotment may be cancelled.
University Fee
Candidates must pay the university fee online to download the allotment order.
B Category:
MBBS – ₹40,000
BDS – ₹20,000
C Category / NRI:
MBBS – ₹70,000
BDS – ₹40,000
This university fee is non-refundable.
Tuition Fee
The tuition fee for the academic year 2026-27 will be as per G.O.Ms.No. 98, Health, Medical & Family Welfare Department, dated 07 August 2026.
Candidates selected under Management Quota B Category and C / NRI Quota must pay the tuition fee at the allotted college on the day of reporting, in the form of Demand Draft in favour of the Principal of the respective college.
If the candidate fails to pay the tuition fee within the specified joining time, the admission will be automatically cancelled.
Discontinuation Bond
Selected candidates must submit a discontinuation bond.
Discontinuation Bond Amount: ₹20,00,000
The bond must be submitted on non-judicial stamp paper, duly signed by the candidate and parent / guardian.
As per the prospectus, if a candidate discontinues after joining or after the date of announcement of the second phase of admissions, the candidate may be liable to pay ₹20 lakh and may also be debarred for three years from MBBS / BDS admission in Telangana.
Anti-Drug Undertaking and Ragging Rules
The candidate must tick the Anti-Drug checkbox while submitting the application form. At the time of admission, an Anti-Drug Undertaking / Declaration signed by both student and parent / guardian must be submitted.
Ragging is strictly prohibited in educational institutions in Telangana. Involvement in ragging may lead to serious consequences, including cancellation of seat and legal action.
