Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU), Lucknow, will conduct the Common Paramedical Entrance Test (CPET)–2025 for admission to Paramedical Bachelor Courses for the academic session 2025–26 in all Government and Private Paramedical Colleges affiliated with ABVMU, as well as SGPGIMS, KGMU, and UPUMS, Saifai. Admission to these institutions will be strictly through CPET–2025, and no direct admission will be permitted. The exam will be conducted in offline mode and will be bilingual (English and Hindi) at various centres across Uttar Pradesh, including Agra, Aligarh, Ayodhya, Lucknow, Varanasi, and other major cities. Application forms must be submitted online only through the official website www.abvmuup.edu.in starting from 18th April 2025 (Friday), as forms sent by post or other means will not be accepted. Only completely filled and submitted application forms will be considered valid.
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must be at least 17 years old as of 31st December 2025. For B.Sc. Paramedical courses at SGPGIMS, Lucknow, the maximum age limit is 30 years, while there is no upper age limit for other institutes. Candidates who have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB), securing at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC) and passed in English individually from a recognized board are eligible for all Paramedical Bachelor’s Courses. Candidates with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) are eligible only for Bachelor of Optometry and Bachelor in Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP), while those with Physics, Chemistry, and Computer Science/Statistics/Electronics/Psychology are eligible for BASLP only, provided they have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in the respective subjects and passed in English. Students from State Open Schools or NIOS (recognized by the government) with Science subjects and English are also eligible. English is compulsory in 10+2. Color-blind candidates are eligible if they use color-corrective lenses or spectacles. Final admission will depend on medical fitness, as certified by a Government Medical College or District CMO.
