For the academic session 2024–25, admissions to Physiotherapy and other state quota courses will be conducted by Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU), Dehradun. Eligibility Criteria for BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy):
To be eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) program through the Uttarakhand Paramedical Entrance Examination 2024, the candidate must be a citizen of India and must have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December 2024. The candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as core subjects. A minimum aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying subjects is required. Candidates appearing in the 2024 board exams are also eligible to apply provisionally, subject to submission of their results during the counseling process. Candidates from both Uttarakhand and other states are eligible, provided they have qualified from a recognized board.
Eligibility Criteria for MPT (Master of Physiotherapy):
For admission to the Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) course, candidates must have completed their BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks from a recognized institution. Candidates domiciled in Uttarakhand are eligible regardless of whether their BPT degree was obtained from within the state or from outside. However, candidates who are not domiciled in Uttarakhand must have completed their BPT from an institution located within Uttarakhand to be eligible. Non-domicile candidates are not entitled to claim any reservation benefits. A relaxation of 5% in the qualifying marks is applicable for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories. Candidates must also be medically fit to be eligible for admission.

Counseling Related Information
For the Uttarakhand Paramedical Entrance Examination–2024, the list of government/private paramedical colleges, available courses, and the number of seats under the state quota will be decided by the Paramedical Council/Uttarakhand Government and will be made available at the time of counseling. Admission to all courses will be based on the merit of the Uttarakhand Paramedical Entrance Examination–2024, and the counseling process will be conducted by the state-level counseling board formed by the government.
