Ananya College of Physiotherapy, managed by the Umiya Mata Kadwa Patidar Education and Samaj Seva Trust, is a self-financed institution affiliated with Gujarat University Ahmedabad, offering a four-and-a-half-year Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) program since 2015 and a two-year Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) program since 2020. Approved by the Department of Health and Family Welfare and the Gujarat State Council for Physiotherapy, the college is committed to providing quality education through a blend of theoretical learning and practical application. Gujarat University Conducts the Counselling for the course Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT)

For the academic session 2025–26, admissions to Physiotherapy and other state quota courses will be conducted by Gujarat University. All updates and notifications regarding the admission process will be published on the university’s official website.

Note: Admissions to physiotherapy (BPT) courses are being brought under the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). The Minister for Medical Education has announced that NEET will be made mandatory for BPT admissions across India from the academic year 2026-27

Eligibility Criteria for BPT Course

Seat Reservation:

• For admission, the seats shall be reserved for the candidate who is origin of Gujarat and falling under the following categories, namely.-

Here is how the process typically works each year for all physiotherapy/BPT colleges in Gujarat:

Document Required for Registration:-

1.10th Passing Certificate

2. 12th Marksheet (Physics + Chemistry + Biology compulsory)

3. Identity Document - Aadhaar Card (Preferred)

4. Gujarat Domicile Certificate: (Mandatory for state-quota seats; Not required for management/NRI quota)

5. Category Certificate(If Applicable)

6.School Leaving Certificate (SLC) / Transfer Certificate (TC)

7. Migration Certificate (ONLY for other-state candidates or other boards)

8. Recent Photographs

9.Fee receipt of PIN purchase / online registration payment

10. Medical Fitness Certificate

• Gap Certificate (if there is a gap after Class 12)
• Certificate for Physically Handicapped (PwD) — only issued by a Government Civil Surgeon

B. Management Seats-

The Consortium shall issue an advertisement in two English and two Gujarati prominent newspapers widely circulated in the state, invite applications from the eligible candidates for admission to the Gujarat Professional Nursing and Allied Medical Educational Courses on the management seats. The Consortium by advertisement, shall notify the date of issue of application forms. Centers from where the application forms may be obtained and to which to be submitted, the last date for submission of application forms, details of fees to be paid, eligibility criteria, and the number of seats available for admission on the management seats. All the management seats shall be filled in by the Consortium under supervision of the Admission Committee by a single-window system based on an inter-se merit list of the candidates to be admitted against the management seats and whose name appears in the merit list prepared by the Admission Committee.

C. Non-Resident Indian Seats(NRI).

The Institution shall issue advertisements in one English and two Gujarati leading newspapers Inviting applications with details of the fees to be paid, eligibility criteria, and a number of seats available in Non-resident Indian seats. Candidates shall provide necessary documentary evidence of proof showing Non- Resident Indian Status of their own parents. Candidates passing qualifying examination from abroad shall have to produce an equivalence certificate from the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar, or Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi.

ADMISSION TO M.P.T. (Master of Physiotherapy) DEGREE COURSE AT THE PHYSIOTHERAPY COLLEGES AFFILIATED TO THE Gujarat University

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to Post-Graduate Physiotherapy, Post-Graduate Nursing Courses & Post-Graduate Optometry Courses in Government and Self-financed Colleges affiliated with Gujarat University for the academic year 2025-26. Candidates, who are eligible as per respective council and admission rules of Gujarat University, have to apply on www.gupgmedadm.org as per following schedule.

For Online Registration, PIN need to be purchased Online (website: www.gupgmedadm.org) on payment of Registration Fees and Entrance Examination Fees as mentioned below
