The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB). It is held for admission to various professional courses in the fields of Physiotherapy, engineering, pharmacy, and agriculture in colleges and institutions across Bihar. BCECE is a highly competitive exam and serves as a gateway for students aspiring to pursue higher education in technical and scientific fields within the state. The counselling is carried out based on the merit list prepared from the candidates' scores in the entrance examination.
BPT Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for admission into the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) program in Bihar, candidates must have completed their 10+2 education (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects, securing a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. Applicants should be at least 17 years old at the time of admission. Admission is primarily based on performance in the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE), a state-level entrance test conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB). Candidates must also meet the domicile requirements set by the BCECEB, which typically include being a resident of Bihar or having parents employed by the Bihar government or central government services in the state. Additionally, candidates are required to be medically fit to pursue the course.

Step-One (Registration):
For registration to this examination, candidates must carefully read the complete instructions provided under "Step-One (Registration)" on the computer screen during the application process. Candidates must use only their own valid email ID and mobile number during registration, as all communication related to the registration process will be sent to the registered email ID and mobile number. During the registration process, a verification code will be sent separately to the registered email and mobile number. Candidates must verify their email ID and mobile number by entering the received verification codes to complete the registration successfully. After verification, registration will be considered successful. It is important to note that once the registration is completed, candidates will not be able to change their registered mobile number or email ID under any circumstances. After successful registration, candidates will receive a Registration Number on their registered mobile number and email ID. Using this Registration Number and the password set during registration, candidates must log in to their account online. It is mandatory for candidates to keep their Registration Number and password safe, as they will be required for all future activities related to the examination.

Candidates must thoroughly review all the information filled in Step-One and Step-Two. If any incorrect or incomplete information is found at any stage of the form, candidates can click on the "Back to Edit" button to make the necessary corrections and then click "Save & Continue" to update the information. After ensuring all details are correct, candidates should preview the entire application form by clicking on the "Preview" button. If everything is accurate, they must accept the Declaration and click on "Final Submit & Proceed to Payment".
To complete the application process, candidates must also complete Step-Four by successfully submitting the examination/registration fee. If a candidate fails to make the final submission or does not pay the fee, their application will be considered incomplete and will be rejected.
Step-Four (Payment of Examination / Counselling Fee):
After completing the application and submitting the preview, candidates must click on "Payment of Examination / Counselling Fee" as displayed on the computer screen. Follow the instructions to complete the fee payment process. The examination/counselling fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.
There are two modes of payment:
a. Online Payment: If candidates choose online payment, they can pay via credit card, debit card, UPI, or net banking. After selecting “Payment Mode” → “Online Option,” proceed to make the payment. Note that an additional processing charge may apply.
b. Applicable Fees Based on Subject Groups:
Note: If the payment amount is deducted from the candidate’s bank account but not updated due to technical issues, the candidate must reattempt the payment. If the fee is not paid within the deadline, the application will be considered incomplete and will be rejected. If the amount is deducted multiple times, the excess payment will be refunded automatically to the candidate’s bank account. Step-Five (Download Confirmation Page):
After submitting the application form and successfully paying the required fee within the prescribed date and time, candidates must download and print the Confirmation Page of their submitted application for their records. The Confirmation Page will be available only after payment and will contain the Registration Number assigned to the candidate, which will be required for all future references.
Important Notes: There is no need to send the downloaded Confirmation Page to the Board by post. Therefore, candidates should keep it safely for their records. The Confirmation Page will only be available after the complete submission of the Online Application Form and successful fee payment. Please note that once the Application Form is submitted, it cannot be withdrawn under any circumstances, nor can the fee be refunded or claimed under refund/chargeback. If the candidate fails to download or print the Confirmation Page due to an error or omission, they will not be able to claim any refund or reinitiate the process. All steps must be completed in accordance with the timeline provided.
Correction in the Application Form:
MPT Eligibility Criteria: The eligibility criteria for the Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) course in Bihar require candidates to have successfully completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Additionally, applicants must have completed their compulsory internship as part of the BPT program. While some institutions may conduct entrance examinations or personal interviews, others may offer admission based on academic merit. A valid registration with a recognized State Physiotherapy Council may also be required at the time of admission.
