KALOJI NARAYANA RAO UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES TELANGANA, CONDUCTS COUNSELLING FOR ADMISSION INTO BPT COURSE IN THE STATE OF TELANGANA FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2025-26

The following are the Regulations for admission to B.P.T Courses for the academic year 2025-26 and shall apply to all the Physiotherapy Colleges in the state of Telangana affiliated to KALOJI NARAYANA RAO UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES TELANGANA(KNRUHS).

ELIGIBILITY:

A candidate for admission into BPT courses under Competent Authority Quota in Telangana should be Indian Nationals/Person of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) card holder and shall fulfill the following conditions: (G.O.Ms.No. 140 HM&FW(C1) Dept. Dated: 04-10-2024).

1. The candidate should have studied in an Educational Institutions in the state of Telangana for a period of not less than four (4) consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he appeared or as the case may be first appeared in relevant qualifying examination. or
2. Where during the whole or any part of the four consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he appeared or as the case may be first appeared for the relevant qualifying examination, he has not studied in Educational Institutions, the candidate should have resided in the state of Telangana for a period of not less than four (4) years immediately preceding the date of commencement of the relevant qualifying examination, in which he appeared or as the case may be first appeared.
3. Further, in case the candidate has not studied in any educational institution and has resided in the state of Telangana as stated at (ii) above, to be eligible for admission into Under graduate Allied Health Sciences courses under Competent Authority Quota, the candidate should have appeared for the relevant qualifying examination in the State of Telangana.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Candidates seeking admission should have passed 2 years Intermediate Examination (10 + 2 pattern) with Botany, Zoology, Physics, Chemistry and English conducted by Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana state. Or
2. Any other examination of (10 + 2 pattern) from recognized Board under AISSCE / CBSE/ ICSE / SSCE / HSCE / NIOS / TOSS of other equivalent Board with Biology, Physics and Chemistry recognized as equivalent by Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana state. Or
3. Intermediate (10+2) with Bridge course with Biology and Physical Science

AGE:

Candidates should have completed the age of 17 years as on 31st December 2025.

1. Age shall be calculated on the basis of date of birth as indicated in the Secondary School Certificate examination or equivalent examination.
2. No request for relaxation of age of a candidate shall be permitted.

85% of the seats in each local area will be reserved for local candidates, remaining 15% unreserved seats will be filled by applicants.

The candidate should fill the online application form available in the Website with the data required through computer with internet connection. The candidate is advised to fill the online application form after going through the Prospectus by keeping all the Certificates, Scanned Photo and Signature in the jpg/.gif format separately (as shown below) and ready to enter his/her correct data and upload the photo, signature and original certificates, after the payment of application fee through Online.
