The College of ParaMedical Sciences, EMS Memorial Co-operative Hospital and Research Centre, located in Perinthalmanna, Malappuram, Kerala, was established in 2009 with a mission to provide high-quality paramedical education at affordable costs without capitation fees.The college is affiliated with the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) and approved by the Paramedical Council, Government of Kerala, the college offers a range of programs including BPT, BMLT, DMLT, DOTT, and DCVT. Eligibility Criteria for BPT Admission
Academic Eligibility: The candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or any equivalent examination recognized by the Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur. The candidate should have obtained separate minimum passing marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in these three subjects combined.
Nativity: Only Indian citizens are eligible for admission to professional courses unless otherwise specified. Holders of Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cards will be treated on par with Indian citizens solely for admission purposes. However, PIO/OCI candidates are not eligible for any kind of reservation (Communal, Special, or PwD).
Candidates seeking admission will be categorized as Keralite, Non-Keralite Category I (NK-I), or Non-Keralite Category II (NK-II).
A) Keralite: A candidate of Kerala origin will be classified as a Keralite. Children of All India Service (AIS) officers (Non-Keralites) allotted to the Kerala cadre are also considered Keralites as per G.O. (Rt) No. 822/08/H.Edn dated 29.05.2008. However, they are not eligible for Communal, Special, or PwD reservations.
B) Non-Keralite Category I (NK-I): A candidate who is not of Kerala origin but meets any of the following conditions will be classified as Non-Keralite Category I:
(a) Has completed the qualifying course in Kerala and is the child of Non-Keralite parents belonging to the Government of India/Defence Service, posted to Kerala.
(b) Has completed the qualifying course in Kerala and is the child of Non-Keralite parents serving or having served the Government of Kerala for at least two years.
(c) Has resided in Kerala for a minimum of five years within the last twelve years of study.
(d) Has completed schooling in Kerala from Standard VIII to XII.
Note: NK-I candidates will be considered under State Merit seats. They will not be eligible for Communal, Special, or PwD reservations, nor for any fee concessions.
C) Non-Keralite Category II (NK-II): Candidates who do not fall under either Keralite or Non-Keralite Category I will be classified as Non-Keralite Category II.
They are not eligible for any reservation or fee concession.
Note: Seats reserved for nominees of Union Territories or other States will not be governed by the above categories (i, ii, iii).
How to Apply:- Applications for admission to all B.Sc. Nursing and Allied Health Science degree courses must be submitted online through a single application available on the official website www.lbscentre.kerala.gov.in. Submission of multiple applications by the same candidate will lead to the rejection of their candidature.
Application Fee: The application fee structure is as follows. Candidates who do not belong to the SC/ST communities will be considered as General candidates for fee collection purposes.

Submission of Application Form (Except for Service Candidates): Candidates should visit the official website www.lbscentre.kerala.gov.in and, under the ‘VARIOUS ALLOTMENTS’ section, click on the link titled Admission to Professional Degree Courses in Nursing and Paramedical Streams – 2025.
Step 1: Registration All the basic information, required in the application is to be filled in at this step. Candidate should click the button “New Registration”. The personal details of the candidates have to be filled in the page thus obtained. It is obligatory that the candidate should fill all the items in the registration stage. Category of the candidate (Whether SC/ST or General) needs to be specified here. As per the category, the application fee payable will be displayed and the candidate can proceed to the next step. If the data is filled completely, click the Save and Continue button to complete the registration process. The next page will display the application fee and applicant’s details. After confirming that all the information provided is true and correct, the candidate can proceed to the next step.
Step 2: Fee payment At this step, the candidate has to make the payment of application fee by way of online payment or by way of Challan.
Select the Mode of Payment:
A. Online Payment:
Candidates can pay the application fee using a credit card, debit card, or internet banking. After successful payment, a Payment Confirmation Page showing the Application Number, Transaction ID, Challan Number, Date, and Amount will appear. Candidates should note these details for future login. If the transaction fails or the status is unclear, candidates should verify with the bank. In case of an unsuccessful transaction, the payment must be made again through the ‘Application Fee Payment’ link. Any debited amount for a failed transaction will be refunded within 5–7 working days. Once payment is successful, the candidate can continue filling out the application.
B. Challan Payment:
If the Challan payment mode is chosen, a three-part Challan form (Candidate copy, Office copy, and Bank copy) will be generated. Candidates must print the Challan, pay the fee at any branch of the designated bank, and keep the Candidate copy for reference. They can continue the online application the next day or within the given time limit using the Application Number, Date of remittance, Branch, and Challan Number to log in and create a password.
Note: Service Quota candidates need not pay the application fee at this stage. Instead, they must upload a scanned copy of the Challan as proof of payment as per Clause 7.6.
Step 3: Application Entry: After registration, a Registration ID and Password will be generated—candidates must note and keep them confidential for future login.
All required details, including personal and academic information, must be entered carefully after reading the Prospectus. Any incorrect, false, or incomplete information may lead to disqualification or loss of reservation benefits.
Candidates should upload all supporting documents for their claims (such as communal reservation or fee concession), along with nativity proof, date of birth proof, and qualifying exam mark list. A recent passport-size photograph and signature in the prescribed JPEG format must also be uploaded as per the guidelines in Annexure VIII.
Step 4: Final Confirmation and Print Application: After completing Step 3, candidates should preview the application, verify all details, and accept the declaration before final submission. The declaration option will be enabled only after completing all mandatory fields and uploads.
Once submitted, candidates must print the application for reference. An Acknowledgement Slip with a Reference Number and Date will be generated—these should be noted for future communication.
Applications must be complete in all respects to be considered for the Rank List. Do not send the printout or documents to the LBS Centre by post, email, or in person. All original documents must be produced at the time of admission at the allotted institution.
If the final confirmation is not done, the application will be deemed to be incomplete and thus will not be considered.

Note: All required certificates, including those for community, nativity, and other claims, must comply with G.O. (P) No. 1/2021/PIE&MD dated 07.10.2021 and its provisions. If multiple documents are required for a single claim, they must be merged into one PDF file and uploaded together.
Preparation of Rank List: The Rank List for newly approved courses by the Government or KUHS will be prepared as per the Minimum Standard Requirements (MSR) prescribed by KUHS.
Post Allotment Activities: Reporting at the College Candidates must report for admission only when officially announced by the Director, LBS Centre for Science and Technology. They should report before the Principal/Head of the concerned institution, who is responsible for verifying the candidate’s eligibility as per the prospectus. Only candidates meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria will be admitted, even if allotted through CAP.
