Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak is authorized to conduct the Online Combined Centralized Counselling as per Merit of CET-2024 conducted by Pt. B.D Sharma UHS Rohtak for admission to all the Government and Private Institutes in the State of Haryana as per the procedure notified in this notification.
Eligibility Criteria: A candidate desirous of seeking admission in Physiotherapy and other courses shall be eligible if she/he:
For Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT)
For Masters of Physiotherapy (MPT)
Notes: Seats remaining vacant under the In-Service category shall be converted into Open Merit Category seats of the same class (General/SC/BC/PWBD, etc.). Candidates who have been provisionally allotted seats must bring all relevant original certificates and documents at the time of document verification; failure to do so will result in denial of admission, and the provisional seat allotted online will be cancelled. Attested photocopies will not be accepted for the purpose of admission. After the merit list of In-Service candidates has been exhausted, any remaining vacant seats will first revert to their original seat category. If vacancies still exist thereafter, they will be converted to unreserved category seats and filled during the "Mop-Up" round itself.
Procedure for Admission: Admissions under the above-stated categories will be made based on the Common Entrance Test 2022 (CET-2022) conducted by Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak. The admissions will be carried out through Online Centralised Counselling from the list of registered candidates on the admission web portal, based on merit in the qualifying examination (CET). The choice of course/institution exercised by the candidate on the online portal will be considered final, and no further changes will be permitted.
Allotment of institute/course will be strictly as per the merit list drawn based on CET and the choices/preferences filled by the candidate. Personal appearance with all original documents is compulsory at the time of reporting to the Admission Committee; attested photocopies will not be considered valid for admission purposes. All admissions will be provisional and subject to verification of eligibility based on original documents. The provisional online seat allocation does not confer any legal right to the candidate and will be confirmed only after document verification within the notified period.
The Admission Committee will be responsible for handling matters related to supervision of the admission web portal, conduct of counselling, document verification, seat allocation, and resolution of disputes, all in accordance with existing rules and regulations. The final number of seats in each course/institute under each category will be available on the websites https://uhsr.ac.in, https://dmer.haryana.gov.in, and on the admission web portal.
In case of vacancies after the first round of counselling, the seats will be filled in the second round through the same process, with fresh registration allowed for new candidates. Candidates who have already joined an institute after the second round will not be eligible to participate in subsequent rounds. Remaining vacant seats after the second round will be filled during the Mop Up round, and any further vacancies will be filled as per the procedure decided by the State Government.
The same counselling procedure will be followed for admission to Management Category seats in Private Nursing, Physiotherapy, and Paramedical Institutes as per the eligibility criteria. All private aided/unaided institutes are required to deposit a processing fee of Rs. 2000/- per sanctioned intake of seats one week before the start of counselling. The fee corresponding to the seats filled during counselling will be retained, and the balance amount for vacant seats will be refunded to the institutes within six weeks after the completion of the counselling process.
Admission to NRI Category (NRIs/PIOs/OCIs/Foreign Nationals)
All admissions under NRI category seats shall be as per the merit of CET-2022. Only CET qualified candidates shall be eligible under the NRI category. PIOs, OCIs, and Foreign Nationals who are CET qualified can also apply under the NRI category. However, for admission under the NRI quota, Foreign Nationals shall be considered only for any vacant seat left after exhausting the list of NRIs/PIOs/OCIs.
Preference of admission shall be as given below:
i. Actual NRIs/OCIs/PIOs candidates who originally belonged to the State of Haryana.
ii. Children of NRIs/OCIs/PIOs who originally belonged to Haryana State.
iii. Actual NRIs/OCIs/PIOs who originally belonged to an Indian State and Union Territories other than Haryana.
iv. Children of NRIs/OCIs/PIOs who originally belonged to an Indian State and Union Territories other than Haryana.
v. If the first-degree relation of the student is an NRI and is residing abroad, the candidate must fulfill the following conditions:
vi. Foreign Nationals shall be considered for admission under the NRI quota only after exhausting the list of NRIs/PIOs/OCIs.
Notes: If a sufficient number of eligible candidates under the first category are available, they will be admitted first, even if students under a subsequent category have higher merit. NRI students who opt to pay the fee in installments must provide a Bank Guarantee or Surety Bond for the balance of the fee. If seats still remain vacant after the second round, they shall be converted to General Category seats.
