Directorate of Technical Education Government of Goa has prepared this prospectus to provide comprehensive information regarding admissions to the First Year of Professional Degree courses in the State of Goa. It outlines details related to the Common Entrance Test and the admission procedures applicable to Government, Government-aided, and unaided colleges offering Bachelor’s degree programs in disciplines such as Architecture, Dentistry, Engineering, Medicine (Allopathy, Homoeopathy, Ayurveda), Pharmacy, Allied Health Sciences, Nursing, Naturopathy, and Yogic Science. In addition, the Directorate is also authorized to manage admissions for certain categories of seats for which separate prospectuses are issued.

Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT): An applicant seeking admission to professional courses in the State of Goa must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) Examination conducted by the Goa Board, or an equivalent examination such as that of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, or any other recognized board deemed equivalent in scope and standard. The candidate must also secure the minimum prescribed percentage of marks in the relevant subjects as specified for the respective professional course. Admissions are open to Indian nationals who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria under various categories. Additionally, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) holding an Indian passport may apply for seats reserved under the NRI category, and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) cardholders are also eligible to apply for admission under this category.
PROCESS OF ADMISSION: Applicants are required to submit Application form as per schedule to be notified, together with specified enclosures, to DTE, Goa. In addition, applicants also need to register online on the MAFSU website to apply for seats at MAFSU, and submit acknowledgement of the same to Directorate of Animal Husbandary and Veterinary Services, Patto-Panaji. Choice of seats in the Institutions will be offered during the admission round, based on Merit position in the General Category Merit list, which includes all category applicants.
Reservation of Seats: Reservation is applicable as per the Government of Goa policy.

OTHER INSTRUCTIONS : The application forms, original documents, and the bank receipts of the fee paid shall remain in the custody of the Admission Committee through the representative of the respective institutions until the Second/ any other subsequent round of admission (if any). The bank receipts shall not be encashed till this time to facilitate on the spot refund of the fee, during vertical mobility. Heads of Institutions shall be solely responsible for the refund of fees. Receipt of fees shall be issued by the respective Institute, if required. The Admission Committee nominee/s from the respective Institution shall be responsible for reporting all vacancies, cancellations, fee payment details in respect of candidate admitted to their respective Institutions. After the Second/ any other subsequent round of admission (if any), the refund of fees shall be sought from the Principal of the Institutions. The Principals of the institute should ensure that the refund is made within 15 days from the date of cancellation and valid request for refund. Fee receipt shall be issued by respective institutions. The Admission Committee shall be responsible for transfer of application form and Original documents of the applicants from one institute to other, on account of vertical mobility, during the process of admission. All fees and deposits pertaining to hostel shall be paid to and refunded by the Heads of respective institutes only and no correspondence should be made to the DTE. In case of any legal dispute on refund of fees, Directorate of Technical Education or Admission Committee shall not be the party to the dispute, except for the purpose of clarification of the rules.
CERTIFICATES AND TESTIMONIALS: Self-attested photocopies of relevant certificates and testimonials should be attached to the Application Form and the same shall be tick marked in the checklist, on the form.

| 6. | An applicant claiming concession in period of residence under category 1 must produce attested photocopy of the Goa Government order indicating the place & period of deputation and posting outside the State of Goa or a certificate stating that he is a student of Navodaya Vidyalaya from Goa. |
| 7. | In case Residence Certificate is issued by Mamlatdar on or before 31/12/24, applicant shall provide documentary evidence to establish his/her continuous residence in the State of Goa, immediately preceding the last date/month of application. |
| 8. | Leaving/Transfer certificate from school or college attended last, signed by the Headmaster / Principal of the institute (if applicable). |
| 9. | All those claiming concession in tuition fees (Category 1, 5, 6 & 8) must submit at the time of admission ‘Certificate of Income’ in original issued by Panchayat (for village areas) or Chief Officer of Municipalities (for Municipal areas) stating the annual gross income of both the parents, from all the sources (including agricultural Income), in the preceding year(2024-25). |
