LBS Centre (LBS Centre for Science and Technology ( LBSCS &T), Thiruvananthapuram) will conduct the Centralized Admission and Seat Allotment Process for Professional Degree Courses in Nursing and Para Medical Streams together under the guidelines of the Government of Kerala Director of Medical Education, Thiruvananthapuram. LBSCS &T conduct combined Admission to Professional Degree Courses.

Academic Eligibility: The candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or any equivalent examination recognized by the Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur. The candidate should have obtained separate minimum passing marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in these three subjects combined.
Nativity: Only Indian citizens are eligible for admission to professional courses unless otherwise specified. Holders of Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cards will be treated on par with Indian citizens solely for admission purposes. However, PIO/OCI candidates are not eligible for any kind of reservation (Communal, Special, or PwD).
Candidates seeking admission will be categorized as Keralite, Non-Keralite Category I (NK-I), or Non-Keralite Category II (NK-II).

Submission of Application Form (Except for Service Candidates): Candidates should visit the official website www.lbscentre.kerala.gov.in and, under the ‘VARIOUS ALLOTMENTS’ section, click on the link titled Admission to Professional Degree Courses in Nursing and Paramedical Streams – 2025.
Note: All required certificates, including those for community, nativity, and other claims, must comply with G.O. (P) No. 1/2021/PIE&MD dated 07.10.2021 and its provisions. If multiple documents are required for a single claim, they must be merged into one PDF file and uploaded together.
Preparation of Rank List: The Rank List for newly approved courses by the Government or KUHS will be prepared as per the Minimum Standard Requirements (MSR) prescribed by KUHS.
Post Allotment Activities: Reporting at the College Candidates must report for admission only when officially announced by the Director, LBS Centre for Science and Technology. They should report before the Principal/Head of the concerned institution, who is responsible for verifying the candidate’s eligibility as per the prospectus. Only candidates meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria will be admitted, even if allotted through CAP.

Eligibility Criteria for MPT Admission:- Only Indian citizens are eligible for admission unless stated otherwise. Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) will be considered equivalent to Indian citizens for the purpose of admission; however, they will not be eligible for any form of reservation.
Candidates must have passed the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) degree examination from any University in Kerala or from any other University recognized by the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS), securing a minimum of 50% aggregate marks across all university examinations of the course, through full-time regular study. In addition, candidates must possess permanent registration with the respective State Council, wherever applicable. No upper age limit.
Mode of Selection: Admission to the MPT course will be strictly based on merit. The Director, LBS Centre for Science and Technology, will prepare the rank list of eligible candidates in accordance with the prescribed criteria. The cut-off date for admissions will be as determined by the Government of Kerala or the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS).

Applications for admission to the PG courses must be submitted online through a single application available at www.lbscentre.kerala.gov.in. The Prospectus can also be downloaded from the same website. Application forms and Prospectus will not be issued by post or through any other office. Candidates are strictly advised to submit only one application, as multiple submissions will lead to cancellation of candidature.

Submission of Application Form:
Candidates must visit the official website www.lbscentre.kerala.gov.in, click on the ‘Various Allotments’ tab, and then select ‘Admission to MPT Course – 2025’ under the Centralised Allotments section.
| Step 1: Registration | Click on the “NEW CANDIDATE” button to begin registration. Enter all the required personal details accurately in the form provided. Candidates must carefully read the Prospectus before filling in the information, as the data entered will be used for processing the application. Providing false, incomplete, or incorrect information may lead to disqualification or loss of eligibility for admission or reservation benefits. All fields in the registration form must be filled in completely. After verifying that all details entered are correct and true, click on the “Save and Continue” button to complete the registration process. |

| Step 5: Final Confirmation and Print Application | After completing Step 4, candidates should preview their application to verify all entered details. Once satisfied, they must accept the declaration and proceed with the final submission. The declaration checkbox will be enabled only after all mandatory fields are filled and all required documents and images are successfully uploaded. After final submission, candidates should download and print the Application Form for future reference. Applications must be complete in all respects, and only candidates who have uploaded all relevant certificates as per the Prospectus—proving eligibility or claiming reservation—will be considered for inclusion in the rank list. Candidates should not send the printed application or documents to the Office of the Director, LBS Centre, by post, e-mail, or in person. Note: Incomplete or defective applications will be rejected. Certificates that are incomplete, unclear, or submitted after the last date will not be accepted under any circumstances. Late applications will not be entertained, and candidates will not be allowed to add new details or upload additional documents after the final submission date.
Preparation of Rank List: The rank list will be prepared based on the total aggregate marks secured by candidates in all university examinations of the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) course, which serves as the qualifying examination.
In the event of a tie in total marks, the older candidate will be given a higher rank. If the tie still remains, it will be resolved by comparing the total marks obtained in the Plus Two (Senior Secondary – Final Year) examination, with the candidate securing higher marks being ranked above.
Post-Allotment Activities: Reporting at the College Candidates must report for admission to the Principal/Head of the Institution only after the Director, LBS Centre issues the official announcement. The Principal/Head of the Institution is responsible for verifying the candidate’s eligibility as per the Prospectus. Admission will be granted only to candidates who meet all eligibility requirements, even if they have received an allotment through the CAP.
Candidates must also remit any additional fees applicable to the institution at the time of admission, apart from the fee already paid
