BPT Eligibility Criteria: Residents of India who meet the following eligibility criteria can apply for RCA BPT 2025 conducted by the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS), Jaipur, for admission to the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) program in government and private self-financed colleges affiliated with RUHS. It is mandatory for candidates to appear in the BPT Entrance Examination 2025 (RCA BPT 2025), and remaining vacant seats, if any, will be filled as per the decision of the RUHS Physiotherapy Counseling/Admission Board 2025. Applicants must have passed the Senior Secondary (Class XII) examination from the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education or an equivalent recognized board with at least 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English (40% for natural-born SC/ST candidates). Candidates should be at least 17 years old and not more than 25 years (males) or 28 years (females) as of December 31, 2025, and the date of birth recorded on the secondary education certificate will be considered final.

The application fee must be paid only through the online process, with the concession applicable exclusively to Rajasthan State SC/ST/ST-STA candidates, and the fee is strictly non-refundable, non-transferable, and not adjustable for any future RCA BPT.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Before filling the online application form, candidates must carefully read the information booklet and instructions to ensure they meet all eligibility requirements. The online form should be filled with utmost care, as any mistake or discrepancy detected at any stage may lead to the cancellation of candidature. Handwritten, typed, photocopied, printed forms, or screen printouts will not be accepted under any circumstances. Applicants should follow the steps provided in the “Instructions to Fill Up Online Application Form” available on the website and must safely note and retain their ID and password for future use.

Print and keep two copies of the online-filled application form along with all the required documents:

  1. Transaction document / payment proof
  2. Date of Birth Certificate: 10th class mark sheet / certificate
  3. Mark sheet of 10+2 (senior school certificate examination) or its equivalent
  4. Copy of photo ID (driving licence / PAN card / Voter ID / Govt. or PSU card / School ID card / 12th class examination admit card / Aadhar card)
  5. 4 Passport size photo same as affixed on application form and also as uploaded
  6. Domicile certificate of Rajasthan state, if applicable
  7. Caste certificate, sub-category certificate, if applicable
  8. PwD certificate, if applicable
  9. EWS certificate, if applicable
  10. Migration certificate, if applicable
  11. Any other relevant certificate(s)

Candidates must submit the duly completed print copy of the application form at the time of joining the allotted college; failure to do so will result in rejection of their candidature or disqualification without any further correspondence.

ADMISSION TEST: The computer-based admission test for RCA BPT 2025 will be conducted online in English at designated examination centers in Jaipur, with a duration of 120 minutes. Detailed information about the test and syllabus is available on the RUHS website. The exam will consist of 100 objective-type questions—50 from Physics and 50 from Chemistry, each carrying one mark—with no negative marking. Admit cards and instructions will be available only through online download and will not be sent by post. Candidates must attend the test at their own expense, as no TA/DA will be provided, and appearing for the exam does not guarantee admission. Any attempt to use unfair means will lead to immediate disqualification without further correspondence. RUHS/Admission Board reserves the right to designate or change exam cities/centers and may assign candidates to centers different from those mentioned in the information booklet.

ELIGIBILITY FOR 10+2 RESULT AWAITED / SUPPLEMENTARY CANDIDATES: For online allotment, candidates must have passed all individual subjects before the choice-filling process begins. Those who fall under the “appeared” category, such as result-awaited or supplementary candidates, must update their results on the RUHS website by the specified date using their login ID and password; failure to do so will lead to the cancellation of their candidature or require them to follow any alternative procedure announced on the RUHS website.

CHOICE FILLING: After the entrance examination, candidates must participate in the counselling process by filling in their preferred course and college choices in order of priority and by paying a non-refundable counselling fee of INR 550. Detailed guidelines for choice filling and online counselling fee payment will be provided on the website in due course.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE: The admissions will be conducted strictly based on the merit list prepared from the admission test scores and the order of choices filled by candidates in the online application form, so candidates should select their preferences carefully. Separate instructions and guidelines for the admission test will be announced through the website and newspapers, and RUHS holds the authority to decide the mode of admission, with its decisions being final and binding. Candidates are advised to regularly check the RUHS website for all admission-related updates.

Important to note: If at any stage, it is found that a non-eligible candidate is admitted to a course, then the admission of such a candidate will be cancelled on such detection. A penal action may also be initiated against such candidate.

Allotment of college and course: The allotment of colleges and courses will be made strictly according to merit, the availability of seats in each college, and the priority of choices filled by the candidate in the online application form. In cases where candidates obtain the same score in the admission test, preference will be given first to the candidate with higher total PCB marks in 10+2, followed by the older candidate in age, and then to the candidate with higher marks in the 10th examination. After allotment, candidates must check the RUHS website for their result, take a printout of the allotment letter, and report to the allotted college in person with the required original documents and prescribed fee by the specified date. Failure to check the website will not be considered a valid reason for missing the reporting deadline, and the allotment will be automatically cancelled if the candidate does not join in person as scheduled.

Joining at allotted college and depositing of fees & other documents: At the time of joining the allotted college, candidates must carry the printout of the allotment letter and deposit the prescribed fee along with the original documents and one set of attested photocopies. The allotted colleges will receive the official list of selected candidates and will verify each candidate’s credentials, documents, and required certificates against the originals before confirming admission.
