Mahatma Gandhi Mission’s College of Physiotherapy, established in 2004 at Navi Mumbai, is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik, and recognized by the Maharashtra State Occupational and Physiotherapy Council (MSOTPT). To be eligible for admission to this course, the candidate must have passed the 12th Standard (H.S.C.) examination conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent examination, with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology) as subjects. Admission is conducted centrally based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG). Selection is purely merit-based, determined by the candidate’s performance in the NEET examination. Admission Process – DMER (Directorate of Medical Education & Research): A college-wise list of selected candidates will be published on the official DMER website. Candidates must report to the allotted college with their original documents and the required fee to complete the admission process. The admission process will be conducted in multiple rounds, continuing until the cut-off date specified in the NEET brochure.
Institutional Quota (Including NRI Category): Admissions under the Institutional Quota, including NRI candidates, will be carried out in accordance with the NEET brochure and DMER guidelines.

Candidates seeking admission must have completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B.P.Th.) from the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) or any other university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Admissions are conducted on the basis of merit, determined by performance in the Postgraduate Physiotherapy Common Entrance Test (PGP-CET) conducted by the State Government. Admission Process – DMER (Directorate of Medical Education & Research): Candidates must have successfully completed their B.P.Th. degree and appeared for the PGP-CET. A college-wise list of selected candidates will be published on the official DMER website. Candidates are required to report to the allotted college with their original documents and the prescribed admission fee to complete the admission formalities. The round-wise admission process will continue as per the schedule mentioned in the PGP-CET brochure, until the final cut-off date.
Institutional Quota (Including NRI Category): Admissions under the Institutional Quota, including for NRI candidates, will be carried out in accordance with the PGP-CET brochure and DMER guidelines.
