The College of Physiotherapy of Peerless Hospital and B. K Roy Research Centre commenced in 2006, to train students in Bachelor of Physiotherapy ( BPT ) course and is recognized by the West Bengal University of Health Sciences. After qualifying, a Physiotherapist may take up a position locally or nationally, either in government or private hospitals or may practise independently. Physiotherapists can also qualify for employment abroad. They may also choose to pursue a teaching career, research, health-care management or sports medicine.
