The R.V. College of Physiotherapy, Bangalore, is a Private College, Rashteeya Sikshana Samithi Trust (RSST). It took birth on the auspicious day of Vijayadasami in the year 1940. The College is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences(RGUHS) And approved by the Indian Association of physiotherapists. RV College of Physiotherapy has a unique advantage for students that help them to focus on their academic pursuits and also to live a life that enriches them personally and professionally. Located in very close proximity to Jayanagar 4th Block Bus Terminus and Jayanagar metro rail station, it is well connected by both road and metro rail. This helps not only students but also the patients to commute easily for Physiotherapy services. Housed in an integrated and large academic Structure, the facilities at RVCP are best suited to meet every requirement.     The Government of Karnataka in its GO HFW 84 MMC 2020 Bangalore dated:31-08-2019, has authorized the Directorate of Medical Education for selection of candidates through centralized online counseling by Karnataka Examination Authority for admission to B. Sc Nursing, BPT, B.P.O, and B.Sc. Allied Health Sciences courses for the seats in Government colleges and Government seats in private colleges.

    Application Fee: 

    1. General and OBC candidates Rs. 1000/-  SC, ST,
    2. Category – I and PWD candidates Rs.500/-

    Academic Eligibility:

    For admission to Ist year B.P.T Course: Applicant should have passed II-PUC / 12th Standard (10+2) or equivalent examination individually in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English and must have obtained not less than 40% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (35% in case of SC/ST & OBC applicants).

    Reservation of Seats:-

    Seats will be reserved for the following categories to the extent it is specified by the Government.

    1. The SC / ST/Category-I / 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B and other eligibility criteria are applicable to Karnataka candidates who are eligible to claim eligibility for Government seats under clauses (a), (b), (f), (h), (j), (k) and the same is not applicable to eligibility clauses (c), (d), (e), (g), (i) to claim Government Seats and Government quota seats.
    2. Reservation of seats in certain categories such as Rural, Kannada, etc and in Special Categories such as NCC, Sports, etc is applicable only to Karnataka candidates who are eligible for Government seats and Government Quota seat

    Certificates in original along with one set of attested copy to be produced at the time of Document Verification:

    • Final printout of the online application form.
    • Proof for having paid the application fees.
    • S.S.L.C marks card (for proof of Date of Birth).
    • Marks Card of II-PUC or equivalent examination.
    • Study Certificate countersigned by the concerned BEO/DDPI NOTE: CBSE, CISCE candidates should produce the study certificate obtained from the Principal of their respective schools. Further, countersignature of BEO or DDPI is not required for them

     If applicable the following documents should be produced,

    • Kannada Medium Study Certificate countersigned by the concerned BEO, for the candidates claiming Kannada Medium reservation benefits.
    • Rural Study Certificate countersigned by the concerned BEO and a verification certificate (only for GM candidates).
    • Caste Certificate / Caste Income Certificate / Income Certificate obtained from the concerned Tahasildhar, for the candidates claiming Reservation benefits. (Caste and Income Certificate in Form ‘D’ in case of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and in Form ‘E’ in case of Category-I and a Caste Income Certificate in Form ‘F’ for other backward classes like 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B, issued by the jurisdictional Tahasildhar)Domicile Certificate for 10 years in Karnataka (Issued by the Tahashildar of Karnataka) or Study Certificate of seven years in Karnataka.
    • Hyderabad-Karnataka Region Reservation (Article 371 (j):) Candidates claiming must submit the certificate in Annexure – A (eligibility certificate – rule 3(3)) issued by the concerned Assistant Commissioner during document verification.
    • Parent’s study certificate / Parent’s Hometown certificate / Parent’s Domicile certificate / Parent’s Employment certificate / Parent’s Cumulative Record / Parent’s Marks Card, etc., for the candidates claiming eligibility for Government seats based on the domicile/study/employment of the parent. xi. For Horanadu, Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates, and Anglo Indian Candidates: Affidavit Duly sworn in for the candidates who claim eligibility under Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga clauses & Anglo Indian clauses.
    • Parent’s study certificate / Parent’s Hometown certificate / Parent’s Domicile certificate / Parent’s Employment certificate / Parent’s Cumulative Record / Parent’s Marks Card, etc., for the candidates claiming eligibility for Government seats based on the domicile/study/employment of the parent.
    • For Horanadu, Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates, and Anglo Indian Candidates: Affidavit is Duly sworn in for the candidates who claim eligibility under Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga clauses & Anglo Indian clauses.
    • The candidate shall be eligible to claim caste, category, and income benefit only if he has claimed the same in the online application form. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, and Category-I claiming seats under reserved category shall also produce an Income certificate issued by the jurisdictional Tahsildar for verification if fee exemption is to be claimed.
    • Relevant Certificates for those who are claiming an exemption for seven years of study in Karnataka.
    • Physical Fitness Certificate

    Guidelines to fill the online Application form:

    Since the Applicant should upload their photographs in online application entry, the applicant should scan their passport size photograph (Snapped with Name & Date on the photograph) in .jpg format and make it available for uploading with the following specifications.

    Width = 1.3 inches, Height = 1.6 inches, Resolution = 200 X 200 dpi and the file size should be less than 100kb. 

    Select the Course – “B.Sc Nursing/ BPT / BPO / B.Sc Allied Science” 

    1. Name of the Candidate: Fill the name in BLOCK LETTERS as per the 10th standard Marks Card.

     2. Mother’s Name: Mother’s name in full should be filled. 

    3. Father’s Name: Father’s Name should correspond to the form and spelling in the 10th standard Marks Card. 

    4. Date of Birth: The Date of Birth should correspond to the entry in the the10th Marks Card in dd/mm/yyyy.

     5. Place of Birth: Select the District in which you were born. 

    6. Gender: Select from the drop-down list Female/Male. 

    7. Nationality: Enter the Nationality. 

    8. Qualifying Examination: PUC (10+2) or Equivalent Examination

     9. Marks obtained in II PUC (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics) 

    10. Domicile of Karnataka: Select from the drop-down list Yes/No.

     11. Category: Select the respective category and enclose the certificate obtained from the Tahashildar of Karnataka

    How to apply:

    Step 1:Enter all the details through ONLINE by browsing URL on website http://kea.kar.nic.in  by selecting “B.Sc Nursing, B.P.T, B.P.O, and Allied Health Sciences-2021 Online Registration”. After completion of entry of All the details candidates will receive an application ID and Password to their registered mobile phone number and to the email address and also the same information will be displayed on the screen.
    Step 2:Upload the scanned copy will be of recent passport size color photograph, Signature, and Left Hand Thumb Impression in JPG / JPEG format separately.
    Step 3:The candidates have to pay the requisite fee in the prescribed method.
    Step 4:Take a printout of the application form on A-4 Size paper and recent passport the same copy should be produced during document verification.

    The sharing of seats in respect of Government seats and Management seats in Private Colleges:-

    In Government Order No. HFW 211 RGU 2016 dated:28/09/2016, the percentage of seat-sharing in the Private Nursing and Physiotherapy colleges in the State has been published with respect to Graduate Courses for the academic year 2018-2019, in the ratio of 20:80 as 20% for the Government Quota and 80% of Management Quota respectively.
