The following regulations govern admission to B.P.T. courses under the Competent Authority Quota in private, unaided, non-minority B.P.T. colleges affiliated with Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada, in the state of Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2025–2026.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates seeking admission to the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B.P.T.) course under the Competent Authority Quota in private un-aided non-minority B.P.T. colleges affiliated to Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada For the academic year 2025–2026 must have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December 2025, those who do not meet this age requirement are not eligible. Age will be calculated based on the date of birth as recorded in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or equivalent examination, and there is no upper age limit. The minimum educational qualification required is either a two-year Intermediate course from the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana with Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) and English as a compulsory subject or 10+2 from a recognized board such as AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE/NIOS/APOSS or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh or an Intermediate Vocational course with Bridge Course in Biological and Physical Sciences from the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana. English is a compulsory subject and admissions are conducted once a year.

Note: The candidates are advised to take a print out of the Prospectus /Instructions from the website https://drntruhs.ap.in or from https://apuhs-ugadmissions.aptonline.in/UGBPT/Home/StudentLogin and verify the Eligibility under Local/ Non-local category for Competent Authority Quota Seats before proceeding to fill the application form.

Only eligible candidates as per the concerned regulations who desire to take admission for above courses in affiliated colleges shall apply online and upload all original certificates for determining the merit position for Andhra Pradesh State Competent Authority Quota seats. The candidate should fill the online application form available in the Website with the data required-for and upload the scanned Original Certificates/Documents in support of their claim through internet. The online application form can be filled through any computer with internet connection (home/internet café/net center). The candidate is advised to fill the online application form after going through the Prospectus by keeping all the Certificates ready to enter the correct data and uploading of the scanned copies of certificates/documents, photo and signature after payment of fee through online. The candidate should furnish correct information in the online application form and upload scanned original certificates with application. The applications with incorrect information, invisible documents will not be considered and automatically rejected. If it is found that the candidate has furnished incorrect information or uploaded fake or forged documents, the University takes action that deems fit as per rules against the candidate including cancellation of seat / admission without any notice.
