Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following Para Medical & Allied Medical Science courses in Government and Govt. approved Private institutions of State. All latest information related to counseling and admission will be available on DMET’s official website (www.dmetodisha.gov.in) only. Candidates desirous of taking admission in the Master’s Degree courses have to apply to State Govt. approved institutions directly through “offline” mode only. State Government approved institutions are to counsel the eligible candidates at their end submit the data through “online” on the Combined Paramedical Counseling portal and the verified original documents of the candidates are to be approved by the Convener, Selection Committee as per schedule. The eligibility for such courses shall be as under.

PROCEDURE OF APPLICATION:

Eligible candidates shall apply online in the website of DMET Odisha. They have to deposit an application fee of Rs.600/- per course. The application fee is not refundable. They have to attend the document verification as per schedule date which will be notified in the website and submit a print copy of online application, a copy of the bank transaction receipt, and photocopy of required documents. They must bring the original documents for verification.
Candidates have to lock their choice of subject and institution online on the schedule dates or as may be notified by authority.
College and course will be allotted on merit basis. The candidate can download the allotment cum admission letter and personally appear before the Convener on the notified date, time and venue along with required admission fees for provisional admission. The mode of deposit of admission fees will be notified by Convener. The candidate has to deposit the original College Leaving Certificate / School Leaving Certificate as the case may be and will be issued a provisional admission letter.
The candidate must report before the authority of the institution allotted with in stipulated date as notified and submit a copy of the provisional admission letter for completion of admission process at institutional level.

DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED DURING DOCUMENT VERIFICATION

(i) Pass certificate of H.S.C. or equivalent examination with M.I.L. and date of birth of candidate recorded therein (if the D.O.B./subjects are not written in the H.S.C. Certificate but appears on the Admit Card/Mark-sheet then the same is to be enclosed). Other certificates of age such as Certificate from Headmaster/Principal of the School/College, birth certificate from hospital or municipality etc. are not acceptable.

(ii) Pass certificate of the qualifying examination showing the subjects studied.

(iii) Mark-list of the qualifying examination.

(iv) Conduct certificate from the Principal of the College last studied/gazetted officer (issued within last 6 months).

(v) Caste/Tribe Certificate from appropriate authority.

(vi) Physically Handicapped certificate issued by SSPED Department, Govt. of Odisha is accepted through on-line. (Certificate issued by any other mode will not be accepted).

(vii) Green Card (all pages) issued by the CDM & PHO of the concerned District in case of candidate claiming the seat reserved for children of “Green Card Holders”. The name, father’s name & date of birth of the beneficiary must have been mentioned clearly on this certificate and should tally with the data mentioned in the High School certificate (If any discrepancy found, then the GC facility will not be available). This facility of the green card must not have been used before by the same candidate.

(viii) Certificate in the prescribed format from the Station Commander/Officer Commanding/Office-in-charge in case of candidate claiming seats reserved for children of Defense personnel or Certificate in the prescribed format from the Zilla/ Rajya Sainik Board in case of candidate claiming seats reserved for children of Ex-servicemen.

(ix) Residential/Nativity Certificate issued by appropriate authority, issued within five years. OR Service Certificate of parent/spouse. In case no such certificate obtained by the candidate, HSC or equivalence certificate issued by the competent board will be considered subject to condition that for eligibility under state category the local address of the educational institution will be treated as his place of residence.

(x) The Online Bank deposit receipt of application fee.
