Venkata Padmavathi Institute of Medical Sciences (VIMS) has established by Venkata Padmavathi Educational Society (VPS) in the year 1997. The Venkata Padmavathi College of Physiotherapy is situated in Tirupati in the Andhra Pradesh state of India. It is accredited by the Government of Andhra Pradesh recognized by the Indian Association of Physiotherapists and it is affiliated to Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences.

FOR ADMISSION INTO BACHELOR OF PHYSIOTHERAPY (BPT) COURSE AND COLLEGES AFFILIATED TO Dr. NTR UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES IN THE STATE OF ANDHRA PRADESH FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2023-24

ELIGIBILITY:-

The candidates should be of Indian Nationality or persons of Indian origin (P.I.O) / Overseas citizen of India (OCI) card holders and should satisfy the local or non-local status in Andhra Pradesh (Residence requirement) as laid down in Andhra Pradesh Educational institutions (Regulations of admissions) order, 1974.

The Non-local candidates are eligible for 15% Unreserved seats only. The Local candidates are eligible for both 15% unreserved seats and 85% local area seats. 

Age: Candidates should have completed the age of 17years as on 31st December 2023. The candidate who do not complete 17 years as on 31-12-2023 are Not Eligible.

APPLICATIONS THROUGH ONLINE: 

a. Only eligible candidates as per the concerned regulations who desire to take admission for above courses in affiliated colleges shall apply online and upload all original certificates for determining the merit position for Andhra Pradesh State Competent Authority Quota seats. 

b. The candidate should fill the online application form available in the Website with the data required-for and upload the scanned Original Certificates/Documents in support of their claim through internet. The online application form can be filled through any computer with internet connection (home/internet cafe/net center). 

c. The candidate is advised to fill the online application form after going through the Prospectus by keeping all the Certificates ready to enter the correct data and uploading of the scanned copies of certificates/documents, photo and signature after payment of fee through online.

e. The candidate should furnish correct information in the online application form and upload scanned original certificates with application. The applications with incorrect information, invisible documents will not be considered and automatically rejected. If it is found that the candidate has furnished incorrect information or uploaded fake or forged documents, the University takes action that deems fit as per rules against the candidate including cancellation of seat / admission without any notice.

PROCEDURE FOR SUBMISSION OF ONLINE APPLICATION FORM

a. SSC or equivalent examination showing the Date of Birth 
b. Memorandum of marks of qualifying examination in Intermediate or Equivalent examination. 
c. Transfer certificate 
d. Study Certificate(s) from 6th class to Intermediate. 
e. In case candidates studied in the institutions outside the state of Andhra Pradesh, a residence certificate of the candidate or either of the parent issued by MRO / Tahsildar. (excluding study period outside the state) for a period of years (years of period to be specified). 
f. In case candidates claiming eligibility of reservation under Special categories should furnish the required certificate in support of their claim. 
g. Permanent Caste Certificate (Integrated Community Certificate) claiming reservation under BC/SC/ST Categories issued by an Officer prescribed. 
h. In case claiming fee exemption, the latest Income certificate of the Parent issued by MRO / Tahsildar or white ration card. 
i. Aadhar Card

 For admission into "Master of Physiotherapy Courses” available in the Colleges located in Andhra Pradesh state under Dr. YSR UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES for the academic year 2023-24

ELIGIBILITY: Candidates who passed the BPT degree of Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences or equivalent degree and have completed an internship on or before 31-01-2023 are eligible to apply subject to the fulfillment of all other conditions stipulated in these Regulations.

The on-line application form for determining merit position for Competent Authority quota seats will be available on the website https://pgmpt.ysruhs.com/ from 11.00 A.M. on 08-11-2023 to 06.00 P.M. on 15-11-2023

REGISTRATION FEE: The candidates have to pay the following fee along with their application towards registration including counseling fee with GST charges @18%: - 

Verification fee: Rs.5,900/- (with GST@18%) for degree certificates acquired abroad and Rs.1,180/- (with 18% GST) for the degrees acquired outside the state while applying for admission to any PG courses in addition to the above Registration fee as per the admission notification issued by Dr. NTRUHS, Vijayawada. 

PROCEDURE FOR SUBMISSION OF ONLINE APPLICATION FORM

(b) BPT – Provisional certificate/Original Degree 
(c) BPT -Study certificate 
(d) Study certificates from 6th class to Intermediate / 12th standard in case of candidates studied BPT other than Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences. 
(e) In case of candidates obtained BPT or equivalent Degree from outside the State of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, 10 years residence certificate of father / mother / Spouse issued by Competent Authority indicating years of residence and other relevant certificates if any in support of eligibility as per Presidential order G.O.P. 646, Education Dept., dated 10-07-1979. 
(f) University marks memos from 1st BPT to final BPT 
(g) Category Certificate if applicable. 
(h) Internship Completion Certificate. 
(i) Differently Abled (PwD) certificate if applicable. 
(j) Aadhar card. 

Merit List: 

a. The Provisional Merit Position of the candidates those who have applied through online in response to the notification issued by Dr. YSRUHS for Competent Authority Quota seats into MPT shall be determined by after verification of uploaded certificates by the University and officials of concerned departments as per eligibility rules/ regulations. 
b. The merit list will be prepared on the marks obtained in BPT group excluding languages up to two decimal places. 
c. In case equality aggregate marks, age shall be taken into consideration and older candidates shall be given higher places in the merit list. 
d. THE UNIVERSITY WILL RELEASE FINAL MERIT POSITION OF ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES FOR EXERCISING WEB OPTIONS. 

University Fee:

All the selected candidates shall pay the following fee with GST @18% at the time of downloading the allotment order online. University fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
