Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) School of Physiotherapy, Pune established in the year 2021. Located on the main Pune-Satara Road in the southern part of Pune city, within the sprawling Bharati Vidyapeeth Dhanakwadi Campus. Attached to the esteemed Bharati Medical College and Bharati Hospital and Research Centre, a 1059-bedded multispecialty marvel, students here are immersed in a world of hands-on learning and cutting-edge research. The Bachelor of Physiotherapy program, spanning 4 years and 6 months, under the aegis of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), admits 60 students annually, providing a conducive environment for honing clinical skills and fostering holistic growth.

Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) School of Physiotherapy, Pune Eligibility Criteria for Admission to B.P.Th. (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) Programme

BPT Eligibility for admission: Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination recognized by any Indian University or duly constituted Board, with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany & Zoology)—these subjects being mandatory. Those who have studied abroad and hold an equivalent qualification, as determined by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), must also have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English at the 12th Standard level. Candidates who have passed the Senior Secondary School Examination of the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) with a minimum of five subjects, including either (a) English, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology, or (b) English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and any other language, are also eligible. Additionally, the candidate must have attained the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the current academic year.

Entrance Examination:-

• Application: Candidates must apply for the entrance test by registering online at the University's web portal.
• Entrance Test: All candidates seeking admission will have to appear for the computer centre-based Entrance Test BV-ABOP-2024 conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Pune.
• Merit List: Admission will be offered based solely on the merit obtained at the all India computer centre-based entrance test BV-ABOP-2024.

Tie-Breaking Criteria

• In case two or more candidates obtain equal marks in the BV-ABOP-2024, the inter-se-merit of such candidates shall be determined in order of preference as under:
• Candidate obtaining higher total marks in subjects of Biology, Chemistry, Physics in the 12th standard qualifying examination.
• Candidate obtaining higher percentage of total marks in the 10th standard examination.
• In case of tie at this level, computerized random selection of candidate will be carried out.

Admission and Counselling

• Counselling: Candidates who qualify the entrance test will be called for counselling and spot admission as per the schedule.
• Document Verification: During counselling, candidates must produce original documents for verification.
• Admission Confirmation: Admission will be confirmed after verification of documents and payment of the requisite fees.
