Haldia Institute of Health Sciences was established in the year, 2003 by the Indian Centre for Advancement of Research and Education. the college is affiliated with West Bengal University of Health Sciences. To provide quality healthcare service, there are various statutory bodies regulating education and training in various fields of health care services. Haldia Institute of Health Sciences always abides by this as we are committed to maintain highest standard of quality in health care education that we provide. As one of the pioneering institutions in the allied health sciences in eastern India and one of the biggest college conducting courses in allied health sciences in this part of the country, we are responsible to set the benchmark for others to follow. Haldia Institute of Health Sciences has been enriched by aspiring students of the state and surrounding states like Tripura, Assam, Jharkhand, Bihar, Orissa, Manipur and Arunachal Pradesh etc. Initially this college started with two under graduate courses but presently this college is conducting three diploma courses, four under graduate degree courses and six post graduate degree courses under several departments.
