INSTRUCTIONS FOR ONLINE COUNSELLING
Note: The fee deposited for obtaining the eligibility certificate and the application fee for NRI quota admissions will not be refunded or adjusted.
PROCEDURE OF ONLINE COUNSELING AND JOINING AT THE COLLEGES :
The counselling process will be conducted online, where you will need to fill a preference form indicating your choice of course, college, category, and quota. Seats are allotted based on your 10+2 marks and the preferences you provide. Candidates from reserved categories who have high marks may also be considered under open merit.
Once a seat is allotted, you should download the Provisional Allotment Letter and report to the allotted college with all your original documents for verification. It is important to note that receiving a provisional allotment does not guarantee admission until your documents and eligibility are verified. If you fail to report or join, your seat will be automatically cancelled and offered to another candidate in the next round.
If you are satisfied with the allotted seat, you do not need to participate in further counselling rounds. However, if you wish to upgrade or change your seat, you must participate in the next round and fill fresh preferences. Any difference in fees for an upgraded seat must be paid, but otherwise, you will not need to pay again.
If you decide to surrender or quit your seat, you must inform the Principal of the college before the next counselling round begins. In the second counselling round, you may select any college, even if it is not shown in the vacancy list, as seats may become available due to shifting, conversion, or leftover seats from reserved or NRI quotas. Seats in this round will be allotted based on the available seats, your merit, and the preferences you submit.
