Yenepoya Physiotherapy College (YPC) was established in 2003 under the Islamic Academy of Education Trust (IAE) and the college was affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS). The College was brought under the ambit of Yenepoya (Deemed-to-be university under section 3(A) of the UGC Act 1956 as per notification number F 9-11/2007 U-3 dated 27-02-2007) in the year 2009. YPC offers under graduate (BPT), postgraduate (MPT) and Ph.D, programmes. The institute is well known for its discipline, quality education and clinical research. Thus ensuring the quality of teaching learning and services to the society and the country as a whole.

For admission to 1st year B.P.T Course: Applicant should have passed II-PUC / 12th Standard (10+2) or equivalent examination individually in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and must have obtained not less than 40% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (35% in case of SC/ST & OBC applicants).
Seats will be reserved for the following categories to the extent it is specified by the Government.
Since the Applicant should upload their photographs in online application entry, the applicant should scan their passport size photograph (Snapped with Name & Date on the photograph) in .jpg format and make it available for uploading with the following specifications.
Width = 1.3 inches, Height = 1.6 inches, Resolution = 200 X 200 dpi and the file size should be less than 100kb.

8. Qualifying Examination: PUC (10+2) or Equivalent Examination

Step 1: | Enter all the details through ONLINE by browsing URL on website http://kea.kar.nic.in by selecting “B.Sc Nursing, B.P.T, B.P.O, and Allied Health Sciences-2021 Online Registration”. After completion of entry of All the details candidates will receive an application ID and Password to their registered mobile phone number and to the email address and also the same information will be displayed on the screen. |
Step 2: | Upload the scanned copy will be of recent passport size color photograph, Signature, and Left Hand Thumb Impression in JPG / JPEG format separately. |
Step 3: | The candidates have to pay the requisite fee in the prescribed method. |
Step 4: | Take a printout of the application form on A-4 Size paper and recent passport the same copy should be produced during document verification. |
In Government Order No. HFW 211 RGU 2016 dated:28/09/2016, the percentage of seat-sharing in the Private Nursing and Physiotherapy colleges in the State has been published with respect to Graduate Courses for the academic year 2018-2019, in the ratio of 20:80 as 20% for the Government Quota and 80% of Management Quota respectively.

(i) Candidate should be a citizen of India and domicile of Karnataka.
(ii) Candidate who has passed or appearing the examination/internship B.Sc. (PT) or BPT degree from this University or any other University located in Karnataka state recognized as equivalent by RGUHS with not less than 50% of marks in aggregate are eligible. And such applicants should produce all documents including internship on or before counseling date.
(iii) Candidate should not have attained the age of 45years on the last date fixed for submission of application to PG Degree Entrance Test.
(iv) Candidates who have completed or are completing Internship on or before date of counseling.

Reservation in favour of certain categories:
Orders issued by Government of Karnataka from time to time for reservation in seats for constitutionally permissible classes of Karnataka candidates such as SC and ST and Category I, IIA, IIB, IIIA and IIIB, are applicable. Failure to produce the latest income and category certificate issued by Tahashildar of Karnataka will result in forfeiture of his/her claim for reservation and he/she will be considered as a candidate belonging to General Category only. Requests for change of category will not be entertained after submission of the application.

The candidates claiming Reservation under Hyderabad Karnataka Region as local persons should produce the relevant certificate issued by the Jurisdictional Assistant Commissioner of the Revenue Sub-Division for claiming reservation under Article 371J (Hyderabad - Karnataka Region). Non production of the certificate during Document Verification will result to rejection of his claim.

iv. Degree Certificate issued by the University
v. Attempt Certificate issued by the Principal of concerned college
vi. Compulsory Rotatory Internship/Industrial Training Completion Certificate or Certificate indicating the likely date of completion, issued by the Principal of the College.
vii. Council/Board Registration Certificate. B.Sc (Nursing), PC B.Sc Nursing/ BPT / B.Pharm.
viii. Professional Experience Certificate in case of Nursing
ix. Domicile Certificate issued by the Tahsildar of Karnataka or Study Certificate from 1st to 10th Standard.
x. Valid Income & Category Certificate obtained from the concerned Tahsildar of Karnataka, if reservation is claimed.
