Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, UP, Lucknow (ABVMU) is conducting the Common Paramedical Entrance Test (CPET) for admission to Paramedical Bachelor Courses for academic session 2025-26. For All Paramedical Colleges Affiliated to ABVMU, UP.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU), Lucknow, will conduct the Common Paramedical Entrance Test (CPET)–2025 for admission to Paramedical Bachelor Courses for the academic session 2025–26 in all Government and Private Paramedical Colleges affiliated with ABVMU, as well as SGPGIMS, KGMU, and UPUMS, Saifai. Admission to these institutions will be strictly through CPET–2025, and no direct admission will be permitted. The exam will be conducted in offline mode and will be bilingual (English and Hindi) at various centres across Uttar Pradesh, including Agra, Aligarh, Ayodhya, Lucknow, Varanasi, and other major cities. Application forms must be submitted online only through the official website www.abvmuup.edu.in starting from 18th April 2025 (Friday), as forms sent by post or other means will not be accepted. Only completely filled and submitted application forms will be considered valid.

BPT Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must be at least 17 years old as of 31st December 2025. For B.Sc. Paramedical courses at SGPGIMS, Lucknow, the maximum age limit is 30 years, while there is no upper age limit for other institutes. Candidates who have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB), securing at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC) and passed in English individually from a recognized board are eligible for all Paramedical Bachelor’s Courses. Candidates with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) are eligible only for Bachelor of Optometry and Bachelor in Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP), while those with Physics, Chemistry, and Computer Science/Statistics/Electronics/Psychology are eligible for BASLP only, provided they have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in the respective subjects and passed in English. Students from State Open Schools or NIOS (recognized by the government) with Science subjects and English are also eligible. English is compulsory in 10+2. Color-blind candidates are eligible if they use color-corrective lenses or spectacles. Final admission will depend on medical fitness, as certified by a Government Medical College or District CMO.

MPT Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy with a compulsory six-month internship and a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. The minimum age requirement for admission is 17 years as of December 31, 2025, with no upper age limit.

Instructions to Candidates for filling Online Application Form: Candidates must carefully read the instructions before filling out the online application form, which can be submitted only through www.abvmuup.edu.in. No other mode, including post, will be accepted. All information entered must be correct, as any false or incorrect details may lead to cancellation of candidature or admission. Admission to all Government and Private Paramedical Colleges affiliated with ABVMU, SGPGIMS, KGMU, and UPUMS will be strictly through CPET 2025. Applicants must use their personal email ID and mobile number for registration and keep their login details confidential, as all exam-related communication will be sent to the registered credentials. The examination fee is non-refundable, and payment is valid only with a receipt. Before applying, candidates should download and fill the verification proforma in their own handwriting. Once submitted, no changes can be made to the form, and incomplete forms will be rejected. A confirmation message “your application form has been successfully submitted” will appear after final submission ensure this message is received. During the correction window, only limited fields like Gender, Date of Birth, Parent’s Name, and Educational Qualifications can be edited.

Admit Card: The Admit Card for CPET 2025 will be available online on the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University website www.abvmuup.edu.in. Candidates can download it using their Registered ID Number and Login Password. They must take a coloured printout of the admit card, as digital copies will not be accepted at the examination centre. The admit card will not be sent by post, and duplicate copies will not be issued under any circumstances at the exam centre. Candidates should appear for the exam at the designated centre, date, and time mentioned on their admit card and ensure it remains untampered and in good condition for future reference. The issue of an admit card does not confirm eligibility, which will be verified later. Candidates will be photographed/videographed along with their admit card at the exam centre for verification, and all exam instructions must be strictly followed.

Results: The results of the CPET 2025 will be declared on the official website of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Lucknow (www.abvmuup.edu.in). The merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the entrance test, including both a combined and category-wise list. In case of a tie, the inter-se-merit will be determined in the following order: higher marks in Biology/Mathematics/Computer Science/Electronics/Statistics/Psychology, followed by Chemistry, Physics, English and General Knowledge, then by age (older candidate preferred), Class 10th percentage, and finally Class 12th percentage.

The counselling procedure will be announced on the university website after the declaration of results. Admission and college allotment will be strictly based on the CPET 2025 merit list through counselling. Qualified candidates must pay the prescribed fee on the specified date; failing to do so will result in loss of admission. Candidates must also join the course within the given timeframe.

Note: In case of disputes, the decision of the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, ABVMU, Lucknow will be final. Any legal matters will fall under the jurisdiction of Lucknow Courts and the Allahabad High Court, Lucknow Bench. In case of any discrepancy, the English version of the Information Bulletin will be considered final.
